Our Story

Welcome to Stonewall Farm! We’re breeders of purebred basset hounds and Irish terriers in Ava, MO. We are Steve and Rhonda Haden. Along with our family, we own and operate a beef farm and small kennel in the Missouri Ozarks. I, Steve, grew up on Stonewall Farm. Rhonda and I have lived here all our adult lives. We have raised Charolais and Angus cattle for years and have added Basset Hounds and Irish Terriers to our ranks.

What started simply with Rhonda getting a Basset Hound from a local breeder we knew for years has turned into a loving passion. Our friendship with that local breeder sparked a love for Irish Terriers and the rest is history! We now have a small group of outstanding dogs and Rhonda has her hands full with puppy litters several times a year.
